Welcome to my site.
I am a Physical Chemist by training, currently working on the quantum diffusion of atoms and molecules in the solid parahydrogen matrix. My research interests involve quantum diffusion limited low-temperature reaction kinetics in solid parahydrogen crystals. Experienced in matrix isolation study, high-resolution FTIR spectroscopy, low-temperature reaction study, liquid helium recovery, etc.
I am also experienced in nonfiction writing—mostly popular science—and editing, with a history of working in the most circulated popular science magazine in Bangla, Bigganchinta (bigganchinta.com)—currently serving as a member of the editorial board. Skilled in scientific methodology and project management.
I am also interested in activity-based teaching-learning methods. I have worked for the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education to develop an activity-based teaching-learning method for elementary mathematics in a pilot project. That teaching-learning method is currently rolled out for almost 20 million students in government primary schools all over Bangladesh.
I have a long history of volunteering, starting from my elementary school. During my college days, I volunteered to popularize science and STEM education among K-12 students.
